Maintenance & Repair
Skylights should be inspected at least once per year and any build up of leaves and rubbish be removed from around the skylight. Depending on the severity of the problem, this may be needed to be performed more often.
The Skyspan skylight is normally cleaned by the elements. At least once per year, wipe over with soap and water and a nonabrasive sponge. Avoid using solvents and thinners. Dust and wipe over to ensure that any build up or caked dust is removed which could prematurely cause corrosion. Repeat as often as needed for each individual location.

Description
The Skyspan Skylight Access Hatchway system is a sturdy built access hatchway for safe access/egress to the roof space for numerous applications and provision of natural lighting and ventilation to the building.
Skyspan’s Skylight Access Hatchway fits all Australian roof types including Corrugated, all Metaldecks, Tile Roofs and Concrete Roofs. The complete unit is manufactured from Zincalume steel for durability (Tile Roof Skylights are Glavanised) and also custom made in other materials including Stainless Steel, Aluminium and copper.
The standard dome is formed from 3mm acrylic. There are no fixings through the glazing to allow for thermal cycling. Tint and clear domes are also available.
The Skyspan skylight comes standard as a non-ventilated unit with the option of passive ventilation and fan forced ventilation.
The Skyspan skylight is manufactured to comply with the Australian Standard AS4285 and is covered by a seven (7) year guarantee.
